Hair growth can be such a long tedious process and there are days where I feel like I look around and see everyone else's hair growing except for my own. It's such a bummer to be a slow grower even though you take way better care of your hair than the majority of the general populace. However never fear, there is a light at the end of this tunnel.
I have yet to measure my hair but based on pictures I am sure my hair is at least 20 inches (probably longer but I'd rather under estimate than over estimate). My hair goal is to get to at least classic length but I'm leaning more towards knee length now. This means my hair goal in inches would be at least 60+.
60 plus inches would look something like this:
Now getting there can obviously feel like forever so I decided to do some calculating based on this calculator found here: http://hairethnic.com/hair_growth_calculator.php
According to this calculator (assuming my hair is growing at .5 centimeters like it should be) I will reach that goal between 1,893 days to 2,929 days.
1,893 days from today 2/1/2015 would mean that I reach this goal around April 8, 2020.
2,929 days from today 2/1/2015 would mean that I reach this goal around February 8, 2023.
I know "someday" can feel like such a distant memory but never lose sight. I find that once you put a number on things and quit sitting there in front of the mirror waiting and watching for you hair to miraculously grow in front of you... it doesn't seem so far away anymore.
Patience is key.
