Sorry for the more than one post on diet guys!
As it turns out, my A-type perfectionist personality pushes me to change my diet every couple of weeks.
So here is where I am currently at:
Breakfast:
1 cup unfrozen edamame beans
2 eggs boiled for 21 minutes (I only eat the egg whites)
1 dark red apple with yogurt
Thustly I also juice 2 carrots, 2 celery stalks, 1 sweet potato, 1 cucumber, 1 cup red cabbage, 1 beet, and 1 eggplant.
Lunch:
1 cup unfrozen blueberries, 1 chopped red bell pepper, 1 kiwi, 1 raw tomato
2 cups boiled spinach, 2 cups mildly spicy kale chips.
Dinner:
1 can red kidney beans with 2 tablespoon bbq sauce
1 Quinoa/Brown Rice mix packet
1 red dark apple with yogurt
Right now my main focus is making sure I am getting 5 cups of fruit and 9 cups of veggies at least. As it turns out, my body responds much better to vegetables than over consumption of fruits so I encourage you to work on incorporating more veggies into your diet too. The more veggies I ate the faster and stronger my nails seemed to grow, and I know it sounds crazy but I felt the same way with my hair too. See if it makes the same difference for you! :]

DIY Mud Cleanser
Mud mask can be messy, thick, and tricky to figure out. Must try at least once to see what works best for your own individual hair type. Just take about 1 tablespoon of each clay, mix together in a plastic container with a plastic spoon and add rose water and lavender oil so it easily slips out of hair when washing out the next morning. Leave in overnight.

- Ginger
- Rosemary essential oil
- Comfrey root
- Elder flowers
- Peppermint
- Catnip
- Burdock root
- Marjoram
- Green Tea

Just place about 1 teaspoon of each in a cup of boiling hot water and let it sit overnight (making sure no one touches it). In the morning just strain and rinse!

DIY Hair Butter
Butters are so much fun to play with and I still haven't perfected a routine yet so I'll keep in touch with you guys when something changes.
So far though I'm just mixing together these primary ingredients, maybe 1 tablespoon each, mixing and melting into a decent sized plastic container. After I have wetted my hair and coated it with oil the butter mixture goes on top.
- Unrefined Raw Shea butter
- Unrefined Raw Cocoa butter
- Melted Beesewax pellets
- Unrefined Raw Mango butter

DIY Oil Mix
Everybody's hair is different but here is my favorite mix so far!
My hair loves loves loves light oils so if you require more heavy oiling I encourage you to experiment. I don't have exact amounts on these but just take a teaspoon of each and put it in a tiny bottle so you can apply to your wet hair easily.

DIY Rinse Out
Looking for a way to get back to big bouncy hair without reaching for that store bought conditioner?
Here's how you do it!
Grab a lemon and chop off half of that sucker, keep the other half in a plastic baggy to save for next time. Take 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and mix it in the squeezed lemon juice. Now take some premium organic made coffee and boil it for heating (no drinking it). Boil that coffee in distilled water with 4 drops of lavender oil.
Here's a visual list for those not too keen on reading (and do please let me know how this recipe has worked out for you).
