Hair elastics will break off the hair.
Now as beneficial as scrunchies are, many people just can't get past the fact that they just aren't as "aesthetically pleasing". Now, whatever you believe I think if you truly care about your hair you will understand why [hair] health is significantly more important than what you look like to other people. Why should you care what others think in the first place? Your opinion should be the only one that matters. It's the inside that comes first.
Putting aside my opinion for a moment let's get into the reasons why scrunchies are the way to go if you want to grow your hair long and strong.
Scrunchies are super gentle on the hair strand, provide a great amount of protection to the ends, and provide amazing hold.
